Only A Test

Readied guns with bayonets,
Sky's darkening seam.
Fingers ready and all was set.
Everyone's eyes a gleam.
Rockets flared up and down they ran,
Down the hill,
and towards the city.
Not one of them would shed,
a thought of pity.

Schrapnel fired into the charge.
The front-lines fell,
With a grin they leveled their guns,
Intent to spread the hell.

Into the city they scream and slash,
These green-skinned horrors,
Were enjoying the mash.
With a mace to the face,
the next target sought.
They killed with great grace,
Only death was their thought.
The fighter's own finest.
The best of the best.

The humans broke and ran,
Panicing, here and about.
The city stormed in,
They all stormed out,
The survivors fought back,
what good was it then?

"Again! We'z fight dem good!
Now to show da uuver Orks,
How propa 'uns should!"

Ack! More Orks!!!

hehe.. Just kidding.
I love the rhyming. They seem so natural, like the ones in lord of the rings when theyre all singing songs. Very epic. :)
